When your computer first starts up you should be able to connect wirelessly; however, sometimes it takes a little more time. Most Wi-Fi printers will automatically search for networks when the printer is turned on and will usually find any that are within range. If not, you may need to manually connect either through your computer or through the printer itself.

In the command prompt window type in “ipconfig /release”, then when it asks if you are sure hit yes. Follow this with a “ipconfig /renew”. This will release your network address and renew it again so that it’s ready for use when needed.
